This pet nat is composed of 100% Gamay from the Loire Valley, made in the ancestrale method by winemaker Marie Rocher. Marie was a wine writer and publisher alongside her father, growing up among the first wave of natural winemakers in the 70s and 80s. Eventually she entered the winemaking trade herself, and was trained by Pascal and Moses at Les Capriades. 'La Valseuses,' directly translates from French to 'the waltzes,' because the bubbles dance about in the glass, and it's exactly what we think pet nat should be: refreshing and crisp with the appropriate amount of acidity and minerality.
